Persistence

Its been a while. It seems that everyone is busy during this part of the year including myself. Many say life sucks. Many more say life is not fair. & some hate their life so much they would rather die. I pity them but they may have their reason. Well all of them can say what they want but life ain't going to get any better if they do.

Everyday, for a normal average person, whatever they do or whoever they are, life will throw something at him/her. As time goes by, it seems more & more things are thrown at him/her. What differs a person from another person is how the person react to what life throws at them. IF they react that is. Some would whine, moan & complain if its something against their favor. I would not call that a reaction. That is a counter productive, although intuitive, way of spreading negative energy. Or simply bullshit. A reaction is when YOU take action on what life throws at you. Don't just sit & cry while life throws apples at you. Throw them back at life or better, make apple juice from them. Always see a problem as an opportunity. Life is not that cruel to throw you apples for no reason. There is a reason in every single thing, even if it doesn't make sense.

Persistence is a valuable asset to anyone. Having the ability to hold on & remain calm in tense situations & hostile environment is what makes a person achieve the best of the best. At this exact moment of writing this post, I know now why I kept doing the hard work & stay in SIFE. I know now why I treat my girl like a princess (I hope so:P). Because I want what I see in the future achieved. I want to hold what I want in my own hands. I know it is possible. Persistence is the key. & we shall wait & see.

Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all.

Hope

There was once a time where my hope became expectations, expectations became reality, and everything in the world seems to go in my favour. I couldn't be more happier. life can't get any better but as i grew up, and several events transpired, I learned that life can punch you hard in the face and laugh at your swollen eyes. I was demoralized beyond imagination, but I've also learned to get up and give life a harder punch. hahaha. I know I can't win, but I won't go down without a fight. Not now.

Having hope, hoping for something to happen, as though they will absolutely happen, as if by the sheer power of our will alone it will happen. High hopes give birth to high expectations. In certain things,  high expectations can drive one to greater heights, working hard, full filling their expectations. However, expecting your expectations to come true by itself will only take you as far as your dream. Nowhere. When a high expectation comes crashing down, your feelings go down with it, as though theres nothing in the world left to do, feeling confused as well. Especially when the actual thing is so different from the expectation. Or when you put in a tremendous effort in it, expecting you'll reach your expectation. Healing the wounds from such a  fall my take a while, or it may even never heal. Always hope for the best, but have moderate expectations.
For the future is never certain.

"A great Hope fell
You heard no noise
The Ruin was within
Oh cunning wreck that told no tale
And let no Witness in"

-Emily Dickinson(An American Poet)-

It is generally known, that he who expects much will be often disappointed, & yet disappointment seldom cures us of expectation, or has any effect other than that of producing a moral deboost (opposite of boost, i guess:P) or peevish exclamation. So should you or should you not expect highly of something? Thats for you to decide.

Arsenal Come Back After Henry substitution (Actually, it doesn't effect the game at all. Just a coincidence I guess)

Though they sucked tonite, but yet again Arsenal prevailed:)

The 1st half went by without any goals, but chances after chances made by Barcelona showed their superiority over the English club. Luck seems to favour Manuel Almunia tonite when attempt by Xavi, Messi & Ibrahimovic was saved as early as a few seconds into the game, if not barely. I laughed at the fact that Almunia was in the right spot at the right time to save those shots.

The 2nd half is were the fun starts. A few seconds after the second whistle, Zlatan Ibrahimovic put in a nice lob over a careless Almunia. About 10 minutes later Ibrahimovic again put the ball pass the net, with a mighty shot. It was awesome. Then Walcott came into the picture. Substituted minutes after the 2nd goal replacing Sagna, Theo Walcott gave an awesome display. Scoring a goal and played an indirect role in the second one, where the England winger sped down the right, lifting over a cross, Bendtner’s clever header set up Fabregas. Just as the Arsenal captain was about to shoot, his legs tangled with Puyol’s and Barcelona’s leader was dismissed, leading to a penalty which the Arsenal captain took and scored. But as a team, Arsenal was clearly 2nd best.

Fabregas will be suspended for that game, having collected a first-half booking, but Arsenal will take hope from the suspensions that deprives Guardiola of his first-choice central-defensive pairing of Gerard Pique and Carles Puyol. But if Arsenal are to have any chance of overturning the odds in Catalonia then Wenger must start Walcott, whose pace and sense of adventure proved so important.

Come on Gunners, you're way better then that.

YOUR AWESOME!

Commit

In most of the things that Ive gone through, be it in group activities, events, clubs and many other things, I've noticed that commitment is the essence of holding those things together. Without it, clubs can crumble, events can go astray, fights can blew up, and stained names. It is very important to have commitment in what your doing because how successful the thing we are in is going to be depends on it. & it shows.
That said, then why would people not commit? Is it so hard to do something that benefits all? I've always pondered on this, & even questioned my reasons of committing into something. Here's what I've come up so far. Correct me if I;m wrong:)

1. Reluctance.
People just don't feel like putting a lot of effort & spending a lot of time just because they don't feel like it. Why? They don't see the need to. Or they can't see the benefits. The reluctance may also come from the purpose of doing it because they have to.

2. Self belonging
One of the most favourite reasons. Often brought up  at some point. When people is not a part of the thing that they are doing, people tend to feel left out, useless to put bluntly. But if people are given the chance to do something, they will be more then glad to see how the thing that they did with their on hands will bring success to others & themselves.

I'll just stop here for now. It took me 2 days just to write this simple thing cause of time constraints. Enjoyed it though:)

U r important to me :)

I may have the tendency to ignore my surroundings. Sometimes I get a lil bit to absorbed with what I am doing. Sometimes, I guess. I'm not so sure. Hahaha. Actually I'm sure that I do. But just in case, I'm training myself to be more attentive of what is happening around me. I'll try to multi task as well, cause I really need to multi task if I am to cope with my daily routine. hahaha.

I think that will do for tonite. OOP assignment awaits me.

U R important to me Baby Fawa
